orange

unsalted butter

tsp lemon juice

tbsp cinnamon

Instructions
1: Wash, peel and slice the yams to the desired thickness. 2: Melt butter in a pan, pour in the brown sugar and cane sugar. 3: Add the cinnamon, nutmeg and salt once melted. 4: On medium-low heat add the orange zest, orange and lemon juice, vanilla extract and honey to create a glaze. 5: Turn the stove on low, then add the yams and coat them very well with the glaze. Cook on medium low heat with the lid slightly open for about 10 minutes. 6: Cut the heat down to a low-simmer and cook for 20 minutes or until fork tender (depends on the thickness of the yams). 7: Glaze the yams with the sauce, remove the pan from the heat and let the sauce thicken more if needed and serve.View original recipe
